After 6 years of a successful career in Peru as Business Advisor in multinational corporations as Banco Pichincha, Scotiabank and BBVA and Zest Capital Fintech, I decided to challenge myself and moved to Canada in 2021 to pursue my Master’s degree in Global Management at Royal Roads University, located in the beautiful city of Victoria, British Columbia.
The journey was challenging and difficult, I had a lot of rejections and anxiety, besides of course, missing home and family. However, I decided to put myself out there and started knocking some doors and asking for opportunities. Went to networking events and learned from successful professionals their skills and strategies to succeed. And after a lot of hard work and dedication on my career path I got my opportunity to land in the Canadian business banking.
After 2 years and a half in the business banking sector in Scotiabank Campbell River and Victoria, in 2026 I decided to switch careers to Remote, a Global HR & Tech company where I am currently working as Customer Success Manager.
Life changing event: in August 2023, I travelled to Wat Pa Tam Wua in Thailand, a Buddhist monastery that supports individuals in their personal growth and improve their meditation practice. After this experience, where I lived and shared deep conversations with the monks and meditators from all over the world, I found my life purpose and decided to follow it: help others to grow, find inner peace and purpose.
After I came back to Canada, decided to follow my dream and I certified as a Professional Life Coach and created The Power of Repetition program. With the intention hep, support and offer guidance to immigrants like me, who left their comfort zone to follow their dreams and goals abroad.
