After 6 years of a successful career in Peru as Business Advisor in multinational corporations as Banco Pichincha, Scotiabank and BBVA and Zest Capital Fintech, Angelo decided to challenge himself and moved to Canada in 2021 to pursue his Master’s degree in Global Management at Royal Roads University, located in the beautiful city of Victoria, British Columbia.
Since Angelo arrived to Canada, had a complex journey with ups and downs, facing home sick as an expat, managing career development and building new relationships in a new environment and different culture. The journey was not perfect and did not get successful results at the beginning. However, after some achievements and failures, he completed his Master’s degree and was hired as Business advisor in Scotiabank. After 2 years and a half in the Canadian banking sector, Angelo switched careers to Remote, a HR & Tech company where he currently working as Customer Success Manager.
Life changing event: in August 2023, Angelo travelled to Wat Pa Tam Wua in Thailand, a Buddhist monastery focused on human happiness and meditation. After his experience, where he lived and shared deep conversations with the monks and meditators from all over the world, Angelo found his life purpose and decided to follow it: help others to find peace and purpose.
When Angelo went back to Canada, he certified as Professional Life Coach and founded The Power of Repetition. Created to provide life and career coaching to expats like him, who left their comfort zone to follow their dreams and goals abroad.
